TWO-TRUE-MOTIVATIONAL-STORIES
FIRST STORY.
Nine years ago, I was on deputation in a foreign country. Approximately, a sixteen or seventeen years old young man used to come to our site for selling some food. I observed that he always used to do his job honestly without any unnecessary praising and telling about the qualities of his food. His style of talking to us was like a well-educated and disciplined person. One day I asked him what is your education qualification?. He told me, I was reading in 10th class but now I have left the school for a few months due to financial hardship. Further, he told me that my father has died in a road accident at that time I was only 4 years old. I have two younger brothers and they both read in 6th class and 8th class respectively. My mother is patient with tension. However, no problem, I will earn some money and then again I would take admission in night classes. I came back to the office and started thinking that how can I help him because, at that time, my own real son was also a student in the 10th class. The next day the young boy came near our working site to sell some food as per his routine. As a human being, I help him with purchasing uniforms, books and school fees and advise him to start his study. Every Sunday he had come to see me regularly and every month on receiving the pay I continuously helped him.
One day he was very happy. He showed me his result card. As per his result card, he had obtained 97% marks in the matriculation exam. I was also very happy to see his result card. Further, he had been selected for higher education in a foreign country on a scholarship. It was another good news for me. I told this news, my colleagues. They were also very happy and appreciated him. I also shared this good news with my family. My all family member welcomed me with this act, especially my younger brother was very happy. After three days, the young boy came again and said to me that what you have done for me so far you have really done as my father. I cannot forget it. He gave me an invitation to attend the ceremony as his guardian but I could not attend due to some reasons. I asked him when he left for higher education, who will look after his mother and younger brothers. He replied with full confidence, ho my dear father don't worry "MY GOD" will look after them. Yes, he was absolutely right. After two weeks, I received an email from my Company Head Office, as per the email my deputation tenure has been completed successfully. I circulated the email to all concerning departments and offices for clearance. The next day all my concerned offices and departments sent my clearance and I informed the administration office accordingly. My company companions arranged a light farewell tea break and my administration office handed over to me my return air ticket. At the end of the tea party, I wanted to pull out the cell phone from my pocket to tell him about the whole matter. My cell phone was switched off. I switched on it and saw he had sent a message to me.
As per his message, his mother was suffering from fever and she was admitted to the hospital. I called back to him and asked about the health of his mother. He told me, that all medical reports are OK. Malaria and Typhoid Fever reports are also negative. Now she is well in all respect and wants to talk with you. It was the first time to talk with her, I had not known her name. She gave me a lot of prayers and offered the best wishes to my lovely family. I also gave her best wishes that "you are a great and lucky mother who has a uniquely intelligent, well-disciplined a complete mature son. You have proved yourself a great mother and I hope you would defeat your health problems with your courage being a brave and great mother". I finished the call` by saying the word By BY and did not tell them that tomorrow I would have to be left your lovely country for my lovely country. Because this time was not suitable. The next day I got up early in the morning, offered the prayer, did the breakfast and started to pack the personal baggage. At about 1400 hours, I was at the airport. I called the young man on my mobile phone and told him the whole matter. He listened to my talk like a mature and well-motivated person and did not unnecessary praise me. However, he said, I want to request you to give me any piece of advice for further guidance on your experience base. I told him, you are best in all respect than me but I cannot regret your desire. So I advise you, "Think before doing, do hard work but with discipline". I finished the call with the saying By, By.
SECOND STORY.
One day we were sitting under a shady tree and eating rice. Approximately a ten-year-old boy along with other children came near us. He told us that he did not eat anything for the last two days. We gave him some food, and he sat near us in a vacant chair for eating the food. During the eating, he also demanded a glass of water. Glass was not held with us however we offer him a sealed pack bottle of water but he refused to take the single bottle. In the meanwhile, a driver with his carriage vehicle came here for loading of luggage from our location. The boy took a glass from him and open the cock of the water bottle and then filled the water into the glass. In this way, he drank two glasses of water. He high his right thumb in the air in front of us and was ready to go. There were a lot of fruit trees. He signalled with his hand towards these trees and said these trees are an asset to our nation. I cannot eat fruit from them and he left away saying this.
- An intelligent man always shows good results. So he obtained 97% marks in the exam and was selected for a scholarship.
- Trust and belief in your God give you the strength to do the always good deeds and remain away from the bad deeds. It gives you internal satisfaction like the young man so he replied, My God God will look after them.
- A mature and great person does not unnecessary praise others like the young man. When I told him, today I will go back. He accepted this news without doing any unnecessary praising of me.
- If you want to learn so you can learn from everyone and from everywhere. As the teenage boy told us, we should use the glass for drinking water and should not touch our mouths with the bottle for drinking water.
- Our first Learning Institutions are our homes. I think a teenage boy can't think so undoubtedly, his parent especially his mother or his Primary School Teacher have taught him the importance of national assets.
- If we want to make a good future so we should have to be paid full attention with seriously to our homes.
