Motivational Story

In the summertime, two young buddies were passing through a forest. During the talking on some issue, a buddy slapped the face of his other buddy. In response to the slap, he wrote on the soft clay-like sand that my buddy slapped on my face and sat on the ground to leave him. His friend admitted his mistake and requested to continue the journey with him he accepted his request and agreed to go along with him.  After some time, they reached a water pond. The water of the pond was very clear and sweet. They drank the water and started bathing in the water pond. During the bathing suddenly a friend who has slapped the face of his chum started drowning in the pond. His other buddy who was slapped by him supported his friend to come out of the pond. On coming out of the pond, he wrote on a stone,  my friend give me a new life. Now they were ready to leave the water pond some wolves attacked them, The both friends stood up and attached their backs to each other so that wolves could not attack from their backside. They defended themselves by using long sticks against the wolves. Finally, the wolves ran away. 

 

This short story gives us a lot of moral lessons for our self-improvement but it depends on our thinking, and how we think and feel after reading a book, novel, story, notes, or contents. And I would like to mention here only the following lessons. 

Forget but do not forget. 

It means forgetting the bad attitude and bad deeds of others. Do not remember your good attitude and good actions what you have done for others. Almighty Allah (God) is keeping a good record of our deeds. He is the best doer and best knower. He is the only one who can give us a good reward for our good actions but we should not forget the good deeds and advice of others. I would like to mention here the good advice of my neighbour. Forty years ago, I had passed the intermediate education exam but further could not do graduation due to financial hardships. I was jobless and want to get a job. A man advised me to join the Army. I acted upon his advice and started the study of general knowledge. After one and half months, I went into Army Selection Office and appeared in the written and physical tests. I passed both tests. After one hour, I was called by the Selection Board for the final selection and interview. The next day, I checked the list of selected candidates and my name has existed on this list. I served and enjoyed in Army for 32 years. Ten years ago, that man died who had advised me to join the Army, but I cannot forget his good advice. Now I pray that Almighty Allah/God rest his soul in paradise.

Always Control Yourself.  

Self-control is your capability and is a strength that keeps you cool and calm during stress. Self-control is the best skill, it guides you that how you should manage your things, feelings, and physical activities during normal situations and in worse conditions. Our heart and mind control our body's actions. At first, our mind gives a signal to our body to do something bad or bitter. If we become successful to control our bodies, in this way, we can be able to find excellent results. Control your mind, feelings, and desires for spending a happy life. For example, a severely hungry and thirsty man who is a patient with diabetes does not drink juice and eat rice. He accepts to bear the thirst and hunger because he knows very well that juice and rice are not good for his health. The quality of self-control gives us the right path to achieve the goal without any hurdle/obstacle but those who lack self-control often face problems. As in the above-mentioned story, a friend showed good self-control when his other friend slapped his face but he did not react in a bad manner.

Do Not Misbehave with others.  

Misbehaving means verbally or physically doing improper, wrong, and bad actions. Our behaviour plays a significant role in our life. Your behaviour is your image, people see it to check your character.  A strong and good relationship depends on your behaviour. If you want to enjoy a good reputation so improve your behaviour because it is the basis of your good reputation. Your good behaviour is enough for improving yourself. Your friends, relatives, parents, and even your family can leave you due to your misbehaving. The progress of your business and service promotion is also dependent on your behaviour. Our children and our young generation are the assets of our future. They follow us because they always see and hear us, so show good behaviour. The following aspects are important for human behaviour:-                                                                                                                                   

  • Thinking.    Who those have positive thinking always show good behaviour.

  • Desires. Control your unnecessary desires to maintain good behaviour.

  • Society. Society has a good influence on human behaviour.

  • Relationship/Friendship. Becare in relation/friendship it affects your behaviour.

  • Activities.  Chose health activities for the improvement of your behaviour.

  • Fillings. Easy feel, otherwise your behaviour would be affected,

  • Working Atmosphere.  A tense working atmosphere can disturb your behaviour.

  • Media.  Media can play a good role in the improvement of behaviour.

  • Resources of Income.  Nonavailability of income resources can affect behaviour.

  • Health.  Good health cannot be ruled out for good behaviour.

  • Justice.  Injustice changes the behaviours. So do justice at all levels.

  • Education. Education changes behaviour.

  • Management.  Good management skills can improve your behaviour.

  • Intelligence Level.  An intelligent person has good behaviour.

  • Incidents.  Severe incidents cant affect your behaviour.

A Good Response.

Response means reply in writing, verbally or physically. A response should be clear, meaningful, positive and respectful manners. Your response is an indicator of your thinking, actions, maturity, attitude, capabilities and qualities. A good response is always appreciated.

Accept your Mistake.   

No doubt being a human everyone can mistake. Now the question is this what is the mistake. When you do something wrong intentionally or unintentionally it will be called your mistake. If a person accepts his mistake, he has the quality to accept the facts and gives preference to the truth. we can learn from our mistakes by accepting the facts. An immediate, simple, and convenient solution to our problems, weaknesses, and mistakes is to accept them. It is also a fact that you cannot conceal your mistake and fault because your wrong action always leaves behind a stigma, which leads to going to the facts. It has also been observed when anyone does not accept his mistake, things become worse. Do not try to prove yourself innocent, when you are guilty, if you do so it means you are doing another mistake because you are lying and trying to conceal the truth and also misguiding others.
